Anjli Jain is a Managing Partner at EVC Ventures, a $50 million Chicago-based venture capital fund and the Founder & Chairman of Campus Consortium, a global consortium of 2000+ colleges and universities. She was on the Fifth Annual Women's Leadership Forum at Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Ohio and has been on the Board of Directors for the Greater Cleveland YWCA and a few other tech-based entities. Anjli is also on the Chair of Columbia Venture Community (CVC), a non-profit endorsed by Columbia University.
In 2011, Anjli was a recipient of the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club's Northeast Ohio Top 25 Under 35 Movers & Shaker Award. She has also been featured among the top women VCs of the United States by Women VC
As a female tech entrepreneur, investor and social activist, her goal has always been to inspire and support women entrepreneurs who are interested in revolutionizing the way the world learns. Anjli currently supports a few organizations such as the Chicago Foundation For Women and Inspiration Corporation which helps and assists girls, women and those affected by poverty and lack of opportunity to improve their lives and provide them the necessary support. Lately, in 2018 Anjli joined 1871 (North America's top university-affiliated business incubator and accelerator) as a mentor to help and support startups accelerate their journey.

Balaji heads EVC Labs, a technology accelerator division of EVC Ventures. He oversees client-facing product development, EVC Accelerator platform engineering and internal technology operations.
Balaji is a hands-on technology leader with 15+ years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Software Development, Test Engineering, DevOps and Artificial Intelligence. Prior to joining EVC Ventures, Balaji was in technology leadership roles with ADP, Cisco Systems, Cognizant Technology Solutions and a Supply chain startup.
Balaji holds a MBA in Systems from Bharathidasan Institute of Management, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Madras and has also an executive Data Science specialization from IIT, Roorkee. He is a gold medalist and a university rank holder during his graduation. Balaji stays active in industry-relevant certifications such as Advance Product Management from IPL, PMP and TOGAF.
Kurt is a Partner with EVC Ventures and focuses on the representation of companies in all facets of their business, including corporate formation and structure, business strategy and deal negotiation (merger and acquisition and capital raising), complex contract negotiation and drafting (including joint venturing, licensing, development and services agreements) and protection of intellectual property (including trademark registration and prosecution, copyright, and other computer and technology law). He represents primarily closely held companies in a variety of industries, including retail, fashion, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, media, ecommerce and computer technologies, with a high level of concentration in representing technology companies.
Kurt provides a wealth of business knowledge and background to his clients, spending a significant amount of time assisting companies in their critical management, operational and strategic business decisions, enabling clients to execute on their business model more efficiently and cost effectively.
Kurt earned his B.A. in economics from the University of Rochester and his J.D. from the Syracuse College of Law. He is admitted to practice before the State and Federal Courts in New Jersey and New York, and is a member of the New Jersey, New York and American Bar.

Sayantan acts as a Partner & Vice President of Corporate Communications at EVC Ventures, a $50 Million Venture Capital firm focused on early-stage startups. He joined EVC Ventures as the AVP of Corporate Communications and is a part of the leadership team heading the communications globally. His overall involvement includes Brand Management, Investor Communications, Public Relations, Internal & External Communications, Networking & Collaborations, Media Relations, Strategic Decision Making and Team Management.
He has an affinity towards emerging businesses focused on EdTech, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Hemp, and Media technologies. Sayantan has over 10+ years of experience in Public Relations & the Media industry and has earlier worked with names like Businessworld, Jaarvis Accelerator (Arm of VC & PE Group, Jaarvis Labs China), Arevyen Studios and the Indian Film Industry. As a skilled communicator with more than 5 languages known, he carries an ability to be comfortable with self-expression, foster healthy business terms and acts as a brand evangelist.
Beyond his corporate life, Sayantan is a professional musician with over 17 years of experience in music. He served as a Music Director, Composer, Session Guitarist and has worked in four mainstream movies till date. In 2015, Sayantan served as one of the youngest Music Directors at TSeries. He has been teaching music for over a decade now and connecting with people, public relations, came to him naturally at a very early age.

Sriram joined EVC Ventures in 2017 and manages the Portfolio Companies. He meets and works with the companies on a daily basis. He guides and regulates technology, strategy, customer success, funding, and sales. One of his research papers on building startup ecosystems in developing countries was published by President University, Bali 2017.
Prior to joining EVC Ventures, he was part of hi-tech companies in Los Angeles, California, leading angel investment group in Bangalore, India and a crowdfunding platform, Palo Alto, California.

Ishan is currently the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at EVC Ventures. He has worked for various portfolios of EVC Ventures and is responsible for workgroup business unit talent acquisition services, on boarding operations and HR initiatives.
His key areas of expertise lie in strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, diversity & inclusion, and mergers & acquisition.
Ishan believes in building a strong TA team for flawless execution in hiring, redefining the recruitment metrics and serve as a boon to the stakeholders. He has earlier worked with Wow Jobs and was responsible for sourcing talents, mapping, screening and closing various positions as per the business requirements.

Shruti is part of the Talent Management team and leads the strategic and operational aspects of the talent management function. She handles the annual implementation of the Performance & Development Appraisal (PDA), Talent Identification (TIP), People Review Session (PRS) and Succession Planning Processes including systems interface, stakeholder engagement, learning and internal communications efforts.
Her role takes an integrated approach to ensure we have the best people with the necessary competencies, skills and development opportunities to successfully deliver on our mandate. Shruti’s key to success lies in leading the team to ensure the work done on Talent Management continues in line with the vision and strategic direction established and is fully integrated with benefits visible for staff and managers alike. She comes with a rich 7 years of experience in managing human work force. She started as an HR Executive and a Coordinator and moved on to a HR Manager role and is now managing the HR gamut.

Avijit is the Legal Associate at EVC Ventures. He has a demonstrated history of working with different legal firms and the Delhi High Court and was majorly involved in Drafting & Reviewing Master Level Service Agreements, Information Technology Contracts, Trademark Infringement, Software Patents, Unfair Competition, and E-commerce.

David is a President at Unifyed, an EVC Ventures' investee company. Over the past 30 years, David has demonstrated a deep passion and commitment to modernize higher education.
He founded Campus Management in 1988 to help institutions drive institutional excellence in higher education. Under David’s leadership, Campus Management grew into a major player in higher education, generating annual revenues of over $50 million and serving more than 1,000 campuses across North America. After two decades of serving higher education and demonstrating consistent growth, in 2008, Campus Management was acquired by Leeds Private Equity.
David strongly believes that while building software for colleges and universities, there needs to be a close alignment between the product and the customer’s needs. His understanding of challenges faced by the higher education community and his knack for finding innovative technology-driven solutions to help customers achieve their strategic goals will play a vital role in building Unifyed into a leading brand in higher education.
Rahul leads the marketing agenda for EVC Ventures and its associated operating brands. He also heads the marketing shared services function that looks into brand management & governance, digital channels management, marketing intelligence, sales enablement, public relations and creative design.
Rahul brings 18 years of rich experience to EVC. He has led marketing teams while being part of Fortune 500 brands like Fiserv, HCL, Accenture among others. In his past stints, he has successfully ramped up marketing teams with requisite competencies and strategic leadership to support global business objectives.
Rahul started his career as an officer in the Indian Army. He was part of the prestigious Armoured Corps and is the proud recipient of the Operation Parakram medal. He is an avid sportsperson. He represented the Army in several Golf championships and maintains a handicap of 5.
